This is a collection of impactful moments in history where I feel that a lack of civil discourse led to catastrophic results. I use the somewhat hidden word ”RUDE” with a reversed “R” to emphasize the importance of looking back and learning from our historical mistakes as humanity here on Earth. The collection is accompanied by the powerfully moving sounds of Pink Floyd.

Uncivil discourse is a form of communication characterized by language that is rude, disrespectful, contemptuous, or threatening, often involving insults, name-calling, and harsh tones. While it can occur in many contexts, it is particularly prevalent and problematic in the political sphere, where it can undermine productive dialogue by shifting focus from ideas to personal attacks and creating a hostile environment for discussion. Factors contributing to its rise include political polarization, the spread of misinformation, and an overall increase in societal rancor and divisiveness… Sound or look familiar?
